Say hello to Snow Shoe! This sweet young girl came into rescue with a limp which turned out to be a broken leg. After a few weeks of care, she is now healed and ready to find her new forever family.
We believe Snow Shoe is an Australian Shepherd mix who is about 3 months old and she weighs in at approximately 10 pounds. Snow Shoe has been potty trained using pee pads because she had to stay inside due to her cast. Now that she’s healed, she is learning to potty train outside.
Snow Shoe is being fostered with other dogs and does just fine with them. She’s also good with the cats in the home and ignores the chickens. Snow Shoe would be fine in a home with children, but she is a puppy, with puppy teeth and is still learning to not nip during play. Having plenty of chew toys around for her will help!
Snow Shoe rides great in the car, is learning her sit command, and is working on her leash manners. Her favorite games are playing fetch and tug-of-war. Snow Shoe is an active girl and would love to have a large yard to run and play in.
