There’s an actual “husband-calling” contest at the Iowa State Fair each year. It’s a contest featuring women, standing on stage, in front of a microphone, calling their husbands. A TikTok video is out there, showing the world what’s going on during this contest. It’s very loud. And depending on your point of view — or tolerance for being married — it’s either glorious or…very, very stressful.
