In the original animated “Lion King” here are no real lion roars used in the movie. They were all done by voice actor who created them by growling into a metal garbage can.
Frank Welker is also the voice of both Fred Jones and Scooby-Doo from the Scooby-Doo franchise (the former since the franchise’s inception in 1969 and the latter since 2002) AND the voices of Megatron and Soundwave in the Transformers franchise.
