WHAT TO KNOW:

Before you begin, please read the list below to ensure everyone has a fun, safe, and fair hunt.

  •  The Patty’s Pot O’ Cash & Prizes is made of clear acrylic. It has unique markings and cannot be duplicated. Any forgeries will be easily identifiable.
Furthermore, when the medallion is submitted, we will ask you specifically where it was found.
  • The winner of the medallion hunt must be at least 18 years of age or older.
However, anyone under the age of 18 may search as long as an adult claims
the prize and assumes responsibility for any taxes associated with winning.
  •  The medallion is hidden outdoors on public property somewhere in
Washington within the city limits of Yakima, Selah, Naches, Granger,
Toppenish, Wapato, Sunnyside, Prosser, Union Gap or Zillah.
  •  The medallion will be hidden above ground. However, it is possible the
medallion will be buried by snow or loose debris (sticks, leaves, etc.).
  • No climbing or scaling will be required.
  • It will not be necessary to bend or destroy vegetation to find the medallion.
  • The medallion will not be hidden within 10 feet of any body of water.

The Medallion Will Not be Hidden:
-In any government building or on government office grounds
– Under natural or artificial turf
– On any golf course (but may be on park grounds featuring disc golf)
– On any construction site

If property is being damaged, Stephens Media Group reserves the right to cancel the
contest entirely. See the complete Medallion Hunt Rules for more information here.

CLUE 1: (03/10/25)

The treasure hunt’s here, so let’s make things clear, and cross off one destination.

If you played last year, then you’ll be happy to hear

The medallion’s NOT in that same location.

CLUE 2: (03/11/25)

From A to Z, the location could be, but one thing’s for sure, it’s in the valley.

CLUE 3: (03/12/25)

The blacktop does end, and then start again. But that’s not for driving or riding or swerving, best we can tell another purpose it’s serving.

CLUE 4:  (03/13/25)

Between Yakima and Rainier, some might fear, is too wide a space for perusing.  That might be true, or maybe this clue, is the Leprechaun being amusing.
