Nitro Nights Under the Lights returns to Renegade Raceway for its 10th edition Friday and Saturday, featuring the usual lineup of local dragsters along with plenty of the region’s top jet-fuel racing and funny cars. Friday’s schedule will include street-legal and the AFX shootout. Gates are scheduled to open at 6 p.m. and the racing begins at 7. Tickets cost $10 and children 12 years old and younger are free. Saturday’s beefed-up schedule will include a matchup between the EFX Tomahawk Jet funny car against Kahuna nitro funny car. The Blown Alcohol Thunder Series is also scheduled for Saturday, as well as dragsters, roadsters, junior dragsters and box and no-box racing.
