The weekend is fast approaching and if you haven’t made any plans yet you should be sure to stop by one of Washington’s 154 State Parks! This weekend (June 8-9) Washington State Parks are celebrating National Get Outdoors Day and visitors will not be required to purchase and display a Discover Pass to enjoy the parks!
This weekend also happens to be the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Free Fishing Weekend where anglers will not be required to have a license!
There are only three more days this year in which you can get into a Washington State Park without a Discover Pass.
- Sunday, August 25th- National Park Service Birthday
- Saturday, September 28th- National Public Lands Day
- Monday, November 11th- Veterans Day
There’s no excuse this weekend! Get outside and enjoy all the great wilderness that our state offers!
