Washington State Parks are FREE this Weekend!

The weekend is fast approaching and if you haven’t made any plans yet you should be sure to stop by one of Washington’s 154 State Parks! This weekend (June 8-9) Washington State Parks are celebrating National Get Outdoors Day and visitors will not be required to purchase and display a Discover Pass to enjoy the parks!

This weekend also happens to be the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Free Fishing Weekend where anglers will not be required to have a license!

There are only three more days this year in which you can get into a Washington State Park without a Discover Pass.

  • Sunday, August 25th- National Park Service Birthday
  • Saturday, September 28th- National Public Lands Day
  • Monday, November 11th- Veterans Day

There’s no excuse this weekend! Get outside and enjoy all the great wilderness that our state offers!
